About the event

Join us in a 2-day rock climbing photography clinic for adults at ASCEND Pittsburgh in Point Breeze. Two professional photographers will lead this session, teaching climbing photography in the bouldering area and on the ropes. In this clinic, you will learn about climbing and photography gear, how to ascend lines and ways to photograph on fixed lines. Participants will analyze professional climbing photos, take their own, and participate in feedback sessions for their own pictures. Participants will retain the rights to their photos, even while using loaned cameras.

There are 12 available spots. 2 spots will be free for scholarship recipients. Participants are welcome to bring their own cameras, if you need a camera, there are three cameras available for use by the Outdoor Inclusion Coalition. If you request to use an OIC camera, please bring your own SSD card to store and retain your photos. Purchase options will be emailed at sign-up and available upon arrival at the clinic.
